Terms of service

The rules for ordering and using Sync Mixing services.

Last updated: 5 October 2026 ·

In plain English

The short version. The full text below is what applies.

  • You choose a package, write your scripts and pay by card through Stripe. Your order is confirmed by email.
  • Every package includes 1 revision. Delivery is 3, 4 or 5 working days depending on the package, or 1 working day with 1-day delivery.
  • You may use your finished audio branding on radio, podcasts and streaming platforms.
  • If something isn’t right, tell us. We’ll fix it first, and the Refund policy explains the rest.

1About us

Sync Mixing Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14325775). Our address is Unit A30, Red Scar Industrial Estate, Longridge Road, Ribbleton, Preston, PR2 5NA, UK. You can contact us at connect@syncmixing.com. In these terms, “we” and “us” means Sync Mixing Ltd, and “you” means the person or business placing the order.

2What we provide

We produce audio branding for radio shows and podcasts: intros, outros, IDs, sweepers, liners and social plugs, voiced with licensed AI voices or, on request, by a human voice actor. The contents of each package are shown on the order page at the time you order.

3Placing an order

Your order is placed when you complete payment. We then send you an order confirmation by email with your order reference. A contract between you and us exists from that moment. Orders for a human voice actor are different: you first receive a quote, and the contract starts when you accept the quote and pay.

4Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Sync Mixing Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. You pay in full when you order, by card through Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. Stripe sends you an invoice for your payment.

5Your scripts and materials

You are responsible for the scripts, names, links and music you give us. By sending us music or other material, you confirm that you have the right to use it and to let us use it to produce your order. When you order, you confirm this with a tick box. We use your music only to produce your order, and we delete it once your order is complete. We may suggest small wording changes to make a script work well when spoken; if the meaning would change, we ask you first.

6Delivery times

Delivery times are counted in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays) from the day your producer starts work on your order. Basic takes 3 working days, Standard 4 and Premium 5. Build Your Own takes 2 to 5 working days depending on its size. With 1-day delivery (50% extra) your order is delivered within 1 working day. If we need information from you, the time stops until you reply.

7Revisions and completion

Every package includes 1 revision: after delivery, you can ask for changes to any of the delivered files in one request. Please send it within 3 days of delivery. After that, or once you tell us you are happy, your order is complete. Further changes after your included revision can be ordered separately.

8Voices and how you may use your audio

AI voices are generated using licensed AI voice technology, based on real voice actors, and are licensed for use on radio, podcasts and streaming platforms. For a human voice actor, the usage rights (where the audio is used, the territory and the period) are those stated in your accepted quote. Once you have paid, you may use your finished audio branding for your show within these rights. You may not resell the voices or audio as a product of your own.

9Your right to cancel

When you order, you ask us to start work as soon as your order has been reviewed and confirmed, and we deliver within 1 to 5 working days. You can cancel until work on your order starts; we refund you minus the card processing fee, where the law allows (see the Refund policy). Once work on your order has started, we do not give refunds if you change your mind. Once your audio branding has been delivered, the right to cancel no longer applies. This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

10Our responsibility to you

We produce your order with reasonable care and skill. If something we deliver is not as described, tell us and we will put it right, as set out in the Refund policy. Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are handled by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
